Denver Broncos head coach Vance Jones said running back Jamaal Charles would get more carries as the season continues. Charles seems to be having a slow season. His best game was Week 3 vs. Buffalo when he ran for 56 yards and a touchdown on nine carries. However, the Broncos are not using Charles much at all. He has 42 touches through six games this season while averaging over 5 yards per touch.
Fantasy football start/sit advice Week 7: What to do with Jamaal Charles Sunday
The Broncos have promised to get Charles more touches in the running game. We look at the fantasy implications.

The Broncos will need Charles to be a playmaker Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers. The passing game is depleted with Emmanuel Sanders out and Demaryius Thomas hurt. Charles has a good matchup. The Chargers have the worst rushing defense in the league.
Fantasy impact: What Jones said about giving Charles more touches directly contradicts what the Broncos have done with the star rusher. In the last two games, Charles’ touches went down from 10 to six. That could change this week. The Broncos are short on receivers, and the Chargers are terrible against the run. However, that would be a big gamble based on how the Broncos have used Charles so far.
