Fantasy impact: McKinnon has had opportunities to impress in Minnesota before. The legendary Adrian Peterson missed extended periods with major injuries. Matt Asiata was relegated to goal line duties over the last few years and no one else seemed to emerge for the Vikings.
McKinnon displayed flashes of incredible athletic ability during various times in his early career. Now he may finally be getting things together. Some who are aware of his past may be tempted to overlook McKinnon for another week or two, but frankly this is the wrong week to do that.
