The Baltimore Ravens’ backfield is a mess this season. Since losing Danny Woodhead in Week 1, they have had three different rushers attempt to take over the primary role, and now the baton has been passed to former practice-squad running back Alex Collins. Collins is splitting the backfield responsibilities with Javorius Allen. Collins has not gotten over 15 carries in any game this season. Sunday, he carried the ball 10 times for 30 yards. The second-year RB has not caught a pass or scored a touchdown yet this season.

Collins gets his toughest matchup to date Thursday night against the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins have the third-best rushing defense in the league, keeping opposing rushers under 500 yards through six games so far this season.
Fantasy impact: The Ravens are very non-committal when it comes to choosing a running back. Collins would have a much better numbers if the Ravens gave him more carries, but they do not seem to want to give him a real chance. Even with more touches, Collins is limited in the passing game and has not scored a touchdown since Week 6 in 2016. Do not expect much from Collins Thursday night against Miami.
