Matt Moore played well off the bench Sunday when he came in to relieve Miami Dolphins starting quarterback Jay Cutler after he went down with a chest injury in the third quarter. Moore completed 13 passes for 188 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception while leading the Dolphins to the win over the New York Jets. Moore threw for more yards in under two quarters than Cutler did in any of the last four games.
Fantasy football Week 8: Start or sit Matt Moore for TNF?
Filling in for Jay Cutler, Moore looks to stay hot against a tough Ravens defense. We look at the fantasy implications.

Moore is going to have a real test Thursday night. The Ravens have a stingy secondary and play very well against the pass. So far this season, the Ravens are tied with the Jacksonville Jaguars for leading the league in interceptions with 10, and they have only allowed 116 completions to opposing quarterbacks, the third-fewest number allowed in the NFL.
Fantasy impact: Moore came into Sunday’s matchup and lit up the Jets, but owners should not expect the same to happen against the Ravens Thursday night. The Ravens defense has shut down most quarterbacks this season and it is unlikely Moore will be an exception. He has a lot of weapons to work with, so he should not be a complete bust. However, Moore is not a top QB option this week.
