Week 7 was tough for Miami Dolphins running back Jay Ajayi. Ajayi had 23 carries for 51 yards, averaging just over 2 yards per carry. He also caught three passes for a season-high 26 yards in the win over the New York Jets. Ajayi was seen limping on the Dolphins’ first drive, but he remained in the contest and out-touched backup rusher Damien Williams 26 to four.

Ajayi has a good chance to rebound Thursday night and may even be able to finally get an opportunity to score against the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens have the worst rushing defense in the NFL so far this season, giving up a league-worst 1,017 rushing yards to opposing teams.
Fantasy impact: Ajayi has been hit or miss this season with a season-high 130 yards in Week 6 and only 51 rushing yards the following week. Thursday night has the potential to be a big game for Ajayi. The Ravens have been gashed by opposing rushers this season. Ajayi may even find the end zone finally this week. He has a lot of upsides this week.
