Atlanta Falcons running back Tevin Coleman carried the ball six times and gained just 16 yards against the New England Patriots in Week 7. He has just a single catch in his last two games combined.
Fantasy football start/sit Week 8: What to do with Tevin Coleman
Atlanta’s catch-first running back isn’t seeing the ball much lately. We break down the fantasy implications.

Coleman has also not seen more than nine carries in any game this season.
Fantasy impact: Coleman’s fantasy value normally lies in PPR formats. Owners who’ve been at it awhile already know that. Now Coleman isn’t even seeing enough targets to warrant a starting spot in deep leagues.
That’s probably tough for his fantasy owners to hear. Even with Devonta Freeman doing as well as he did in 2016, Coleman was able to please fantasy owners with spectacular plays in the Falcons’ high-flying offense. 2017 has been a different story.
It’s hard to fault Coleman completely. Getting into a rhythm is hard when you’re seeing very little opportunity. Unfortunately that’s the reality for him right now. Fantasy owners will have to sit him for now.
Recommendation: Sit
