Newton will look like the 2015 MVP one game and then have a dud that sees him not even break 16 fantasy points. That includes his Week 7 disaster vs. the Chicago Bears in a 17-3 loss that saw him fail to score.
Don’t expect that to be the case in Week 8, as he’ll face a Tampa Bay Buccaneers team that everyone is scoring on. The Bucs have allowed 68 points over the last two weeks and are ripe for Newton to have a big day against.
Fantasy Advice: Newton will face a Tampa Bay defense allowing the second-most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. Aside from Mike Glennon in Week 2, Tampa Bay has been shredded by every quarterback it’s faced. Put Newton in your starting lineup.
