Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr did not let a few fractures in his back stop him from having the second-best game of career against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 7. Carr completed 29 passes on 52 attempts for 417 yards and three touchdowns in the win last Thursday night. It was by far his best game of the season so far.
Fantasy football start/sit advice Week 8: What to do with Derek Carr on Sunday
Coming off a huge performance, Carr will be put to test against very tough defense in Buffalo. We look at the fantasy implications.

Sunday Carr and the Raiders head to Buffalo to take on the Bills. The Bills defense had contained opposing QBs all season up until Week 7, when it allowed Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Jameis Winston to throw for 384 yards and three touchdowns. No quarterback had multiple passing touchdowns against the Bills prior to Winston last week. Week 7 was the second straight week the Bills allowed a QB to throw for more than 300 yards.
Fantasy impact: There is no denying Carr can get the hot hand at any given moment, however, he can also flake out on a dime too. In the three games before Week 7, Carr failed to pass for more than 143 yards and he had four interceptions to just three touchdowns. The Bills seem to be off their defensive game of late. Prior to Week 5, no QB had more than 255 passing yards versus the Bills. Now they have given up back-to-back 300 plus passing yard games. So which Carr will show up Sunday in Buffalo and which defense will he face? Hard to say, but since things are trending in his favor, might as well give Carr a shot.
