Philadelphia Eagles receiver Alshon Jeffery will take on the Arizona Cardinals in Week 5. He only caught three passes for 29 yards last week, but one of those catches went for a touchdown.
Fantasy football sit/start advice, Week 5: Alshon Jeffery
The Eagles’ top receiver is in tough in Week 5. We break down the fantasy implications.

Jeffery will be blanketed by Patrick Peterson on Sunday. That’s what will make it tough for fantasy owners to put him in the starting lineup this time around.
Fantasy impact: Patterson has held his assignments over the last two weeks (Dez Bryant and Pierre Garcon) to a total of 48 receiving yards. On the flipside, the Cardinals as a team are struggling against wideouts.
Arizona gives up the sixth most fantasy points in the league. So what does one do with Jeffery? In this case it’s probably best to let him ride the pine if you have other options at receiver. Those in deep leagues may not have a choice.
Perhaps the score runs up in this game and Jeffery benefits, but err on the side of caution and bet against that this time.
Recommendation: Sit
