Derek Carr injury update: How to handle Raiders QB vs. Ravens
Derek Carr’s back injury may not be as bad as was originally reported.

The Oakland Raiders are listing Derek Carr as questionable vs. the Baltimore Ravens in Week 5. This comes after head coach Jack Del Rio said Carr has a fracture in his back and is out 2-6 weeks.
Even with the injury, Carr was able to practice this week, though it was just a pair of limited sessions after he was sidelined Wednesday. He looks highly unlikely to play this Sunday, which means EJ Manuel would be the starter. Even though Carr practiced Friday, it was Manuel getting the first-string reps.
Fantasy owners should prepare for Carr to be out this week, but seeing him practice does bode well for a quick return, possibly in Week 6 vs. the Los Angeles Chargers.
Fantasy impact: If Carr were to play, he would face a Ravens defense allowing the 11th-fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. Even if Carr plays, keep him on the bench this week.
