It’s been a strange rookie season for Buffalo Bills receiver Zay Jones. A favorite of the draft community, Jones was penciled in for a starting role after being selected in the second round, but he’s struggled badly in the first half of the season.
Fantasy football 2017 Week 10: Zay Jones, start or sit?
Jones finally caught his first NFL touchdown last week, but picked up a knee injury in the process. We break down the fantasy implications.

In his first seven games, Jones saw 37 yards but had just 10 catches for 115 yards, a disastrous 37 percent catch rate. He finally saw a breakthrough in last week’s loss to the New York Jets, posting six catches on seven targets and recording 53 yards, including the first NFL touchdown of his career. Unfortunately, Jones suffered a knee injury and couldn’t finish the game, leaving him questionable to play this week.
Fantasy impact: Jones isn’t practicing this week and might be ruled out against the New Orleans Saints. Even if he does play, though, he’ll likely take a backseat to Kelvin Benjamin, whom the Bills acquired at the trade deadline. Jones is worth holding on to in dynasty leagues, but unless his Week 9 performance leads to a second-half surge, he can be safely ignored in 12-team leagues.
Recommendation: Sit
