Oakland Raiders wide receiver Amari Cooper might be having one of the most confounding seasons in all of fantasy football. A 23-year-old receiver coming off back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons, Cooper was projected as an elite WR1 in an ascending Raiders offense.
Fantasy football 2017 Week 11: Amari Cooper, start or sit?
Cooper disappeared again after his Week 7 explosion. We break down the fantasy implications.

Instead, he’s been downright poor most of the year, suffering from drop issues and not really playing up to his physical traits. In nine games, he has just 38 catches for 462 yards and three touchdowns, with most of that production coming in one game (11 catches, 210 yards, two scores in Week 7).
Fantasy impact: Fantasy owners who sold high on Cooper after that 210-yard game are probably feeling good right now. He has nine catches for 106 yards in the two games since then, which is actually an improvement on his early-season slump. Still, Cooper is having a tremendously disappointing season and is hard to trust in starting lineups right now, even with a good matchup against the New England Patriots this week.
Recommendation: Start if you’re desperate
