Buffalo Bills rookie wide receiver Zay Jones is having a terrible start to his NFL career and that trend is likely to continue against the New York Jets Thursday night. Jones is getting a ton of looks from Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor. The second-round pick is the second-most targeted player in the Bills’ offense with 37 balls thrown in his direction so far this season. Unfortunately, he has only caught 10 of those all season. Jones’ pass-catching percentage is 27 percent.
Fantasy football Week 9: Start or sit Zay jones for ‘TNF’?
Jones does not get a fantasy boost this week despite having a favorable matchup against division rivals the Jets.

The Bills continue to give Jones a lot of looks considering how little he catches the ball. Jones has five or more targets in every game this season expect Week 3. Thursday night Jones could have a big game against the extremely soft Jets defense if he can catch the ball.
Fantasy impact: Jones obviously stands in his own way, but he is a fantasy bust this season. He has the second worst catching percentage in the league so far this season. If he can get out of his head Thursday night, he could do some damage with five or more targets against the Jets. That is a big if based on how Jones has played this season.
