Latavius Murray outrushed Minnesota Vikings teammate Jerick McKinnon by 47 yards Sunday with just one additional carry. Murray also owned most of the goal-line snaps and all of the Vikings’ rushing touchdowns, carrying the ball 15 times for 95 yards and two touchdowns in the win over the Los Angeles Rams. Murray has three touchdowns in the last two games.
Fantasy football start/sit, Week 12: What to do with Latavius Murray on Thanksgiving
Murray was clearly the favored rusher once again in the Vikings backfield. We break down the fantasy implications.

The Vikings’ rushers have a favorable matchup Thursday night. The Detroit Lions defense struggles to defend the run, giving up the second-most touchdowns and 11th-most rushing yards to opposing RBs this season. Murray rushed seven times for 21 yards in the Week 4 meeting against the Lions, but he was backing up rookie Dalvin Cook at the time.
Fantasy impact: Murray has tons of upside for Thursday’s matchup with the Lions. The Vikings favor Murray taking the red-zone snaps and he has the hot hand, outrushing McKinnon significantly in three of the last four games. The matchup with the Lions is also great. In each of the last two games, at least one running back has rushed for 90 yards or more and a touchdown. Murray is a no-brainer for owners this week.
