Marvin Jones came out with a bang Sunday for the Detroit Lions after a ghostly performance in Week 10 vs. the Cleveland Browns. Jones caught four passes for 85 yards and a touchdown in the win over the Chicago Bears. It was his fourth 80-plus-yard outing in the last five games. Jones also leads the Lions’ receiving corps in touchdowns this season with six scores.
Fantasy football Week 12: Start or sit Marvin Jones on Thanksgiving?
Jones rebounded in Week 11, but he has a really tough matchup ahead on Thursday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Thursday, Jones draws another tough matchup with the Minnesota Vikings incredible defense. Jones only had two catches catch for 42 yards against the Vikings in Week 4. Minnesota has only given up six touchdowns to wideouts this season, a tie for the third-fewest scores allowed to the position. Jones has never scored a touchdown against the Vikings through five career matchups.
Fantasy impact: It has been two different seasons for Jones this year. He did not have a game with more than 54 receiving yards in the first five games of the season. Since Week 6, he is averaging over 87 yards per game. Week 11 showed that Jones can revert to his early-season ways at any moment, however. With the Vikings coming to town, Jones is looking at another down week, unfortunately. He always has the potential for a big play, but those will be harder to come by Thursday. This is looking like a week to leave Jones on the bench.
