The last two games have been hard for Adrian Peterson; however, he has a chance to rebound Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Arizona Cardinals star running back was a ghost in Week 11, rushing for 26 yards on 14 carries and catching one pass for 13 yards.
Fantasy football start/sit, Week 12: What to do with Adrian Peterson
Peterson looks to put recent struggles behind him as he faces the best defense in the NFL. We break down the fantasy implications.

The week prior, Peterson rushed 21 times for 29 yards and also had one 13-yard catch. Peterson has been a letdown most of the season. He has had two breakout games this season, in Weeks 6 and 9, when he rushed for well over 100 yards.
Sunday, Peterson will try to bounce back against the best defense in the league when the Cardinals take on the Jaguars. Jacksonville plays lights out against the pass but struggles to defend against the rush. The Jags have allowed the 14th-most rushing yards to running backs this season. Running backs also account for three of the seven passing touchdowns scored against Jacksonville this season.
Fantasy impact: Peterson has been difficult to trust in fantasy this season. He is either a boom or a bust, and most of this year has been a bust for Peterson. Still, we are talking about Adrian Peterson and if any running back can go off, it is definitely him. Jacksonville is a tough competitor. The Jaguars have a vulnerable run defense though. It will not be easy, but Peterson has a small window for a big game against Jacksonville. It is worth the gamble to play Peterson at the flex position Sunday.
