The Denver Broncos have reached desperation mode for offense, but they will get wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders, back for the contest. Sanders missed the last two games recovering from a sprained ankle that he suffered on an awkward hit in the Week 6 loss to the New York Giants. Sanders was a key part in the Broncos offense prior to going down. He led the Broncos in targets, receptions, or yards receiving in every game except two — Week 1 and Week 6 when he was carted off the field. Sanders is still tied for the most receiving touchdowns this season with receiver Bennie Fowler and tight end A.J. Derby.
Fantasy football, Week 9: Start or sit Emmanuel Sanders on Sunday?
Sanders returns to the field with a new quarterback under center. We break down the fantasy impact.

Sunday in Philadelphia, Sanders will return to the field with Brock Osweiler under center. Sanders had some great games with Osweiler in 2015, but they could have a tough reunion against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles have nine interceptions so far this season, tied for fifth-most in the league. They also could have cornerback Ronald Darby back in the lineup Sunday.
Fantasy impact: Sanders returns to a messy situation that does not get much better with Osweiler running the offense. Osweiler cannot be trusted to be any better than Trevor Siemian, but if he does try to make any big plays, expect Sanders to be on the receiving end of those passes. The Eagles can be beaten with the pass. Still, the odds are not in Sanders’ favor with Osweiler at the helm.
