Jamaal Charles was supposed to receive a lot more work against his former Kansas City Chiefs team. The Denver Broncos rusher ended up only carrying the ball eight times for 39 yards and he lost a fumble that was recovered by the Chiefs for a touchdown on the second play of the game. Charles had one catch for five yards in the loss as well.
Fantasy football start/sit, Week 9: What to do with Jamaal Charles on Sunday
Charles had under 10 carries again this week in a bad revenge game performance. We break down the fantasy impact.

Sunday, the Broncos head to Philadelphia and face a tough Eagles run defense. The Eagles’ rushing defense is ranked third in the league keeping opposing running backs under an average of four yards per carry. The Eagles have only given up 563 rushing yards all season.
Fantasy impact: Charles shot himself in the foot Monday night with that fumble. The Broncos are desperate for offense and the run is pretty much all they have right now. Still, Charles is not getting a chance to carry the ball more than 10 times. It is clear that the Broncos do not trust giving Charles too much responsibilty. Less touches means less chances to get fantasy points. Sunday in Philadelphia, none of the Broncos running backs may be able to get it going, Charles especially.
