Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco looked visibly dazed after taking a big hit late in Week 8 that knocked him out of the game and placed him in the NFL’s concussion protocol. Flacco was having one of his better games this season before exiting late in the second quarter of the shutout win over the Miami Dolphins. He completed 10 of 15 passes for 101 yards and a touchdown Thursday night. Flacco was on pace to have just his fourth 200-plus-yard throwing game this season.
Fantasy football start/sit, Week 9: What to do with Joe Flacco Sunday
Flacco plans to return under center a week after suffering a concussion on a nasty hit. We look at the fantasy impact.

The long week gave Flacco enough time to recover for the Ravens Week 9 meeting with the Tennessee Titans. The Titans passing defense ranks in the middle of the pack. Flacco, however, ranks last among starting quarterbacks who have played all season in yards per game, with a little over 160 passing yards per game.
Fantasy impact: Flacco has been bad all season, and there is little chance that will change in Tennessee Sunday. Baltimore will probably rely on the run and limit the amount of passes Flacco takes this week. Even if he does pass more than expected, Flacco has not been impressive throwing the ball this year. The matchup against the Titans may look enticing, but there is no point in using Flacco this week.
