When the Arizona Cardinals traded for Adrian Peterson, they were hoping he could be a nice upgrade to a struggling ground game. Now Peterson will have the weight of the Cardinals’ season on his shoulders.
Fantasy football start/sit, Week 9: Start or sit Adrian Peterson on Sunday?
The fate of Arizona’s season may now rest on Adrian Peterson.

With starting quarterback Carson Palmer likely out for the rest of the season with a broken arm, Drew Stanton is a serious downgrade for the passing game, making it very likely that the Cardinals look to Peterson to carry them to a winning season.
Peterson has already ran for 155 yards and two scores on 37 carries in two games since being traded to the Cardinals from the New Orleans Saints. Now he’ll get a great matchup coming out of the bye week when Arizona takes on the winless San Francisco 49ers.
Fantasy advice: Peterson will go against a 49ers defense allowing the most fantasy points to running backs this season. Put Peterson in your starting lineup for Week 9.
