Fantasy Impact: Barring a setback, Darkwa should be good to go for this Sunday against the Cowboys. Had he missed Friday’s practice as well, it would have been problematic, but as is, you can expect him to play. Furthermore, with Cowboys-Giants kicking off at 1:00 p.m., you will know his active status in plenty of time to make a potential change.
Darkwa has emerged as the Giants starter, and while not a great fantasy football option, he has proved to be a decent low end volume play. Wayne Gallman has gotten some red zone work in his place, but for the most part, Darkwa is the guy in this backfield. This week he faces a Cowboys defense that ranks in the middle of the pack for fantasy points allowed. With Eli Manning back in the starting lineup, Darkwa is a decent play.
