The New England Patriots could be a man short at wide receiver in Week 15 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting Chris Hogan is not expected to play on Sunday.
Chris Hogan injury update: Late change impacts fantasy football status
The Patriots are expected to be without a big weapon. We break down the fantasy implications.

Hogan is listed as questionable after spending the week limited with a shoulder injury. He missed four weeks with the injury, and then returned in Week 14 to the tune of one catch for 1 yard.
Fantasy implications: If you were planning on starting Hogan and don’t have any other late game options, you’ll want to bench him. If you have other options in the afternoon and primetime games, you can hold off until inactives are officially announced at 2:55 p.m. ET.
This should not be a huge issue for Tom Brady against the Steelers. It is a tough road matchup, but he gets Rob Gronkowski back after a suspension. Gronk, along with Brandin Cooks, Danny Amendola, and a bevy of running backs who can catch the ball, means Hogan’s absence should not hurt the offense much, if at all. One interesting name to watch is Kenny Britt. If he is active and makes his Patriots debut, he could be in line for some of Hogan’s targets.
