For the first time since joining the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 9, Jay Ajayi was not the leading rusher for the team Sunday in a blowout over the Chicago Bears. Ajayi was almost non-existent for the Eagles in Week 12, rushing five times for 26 yards and catching one ball for 7 yards. He did have one breakout carry for 30 yards in the second half, but fumbled the ball into the end zone at the end of the run. WR Nelson Agholor was able to recover that fumble for a touchdown. Ajayi has not received more than eight touches since joining the Eagles.
Fantasy football start/sit advice Week 13: What to do with Jay Ajayi
Ajayi took a backseat to LeGarrette Blount in the Eagles’ backfield Week 12. We look at the fantasy implications for Sunday night.

Sunday night, Ajayi will need a lot more touches to get going against the Seattle Seahawks’ defensive front. The Seahawks defense is pretty good at defending against the run. They have held offenses under 90 yards rushing in five of the last six games and they’ve kept three teams under 52 rushing yards this season.
Fantasy impact: A week ago Ajayi looked like the best running back in Philadelphia. Now, owners are going to think twice about putting him their starting lineups. Rightfully so — Ajayi can break off a big run at any time, but the Eagles are not giving him a lot of opportunities to thrive in the backfield. He has an uphill battle Sunday night against the Seahawks. Receiving very limited touches, Ajayi can sit out this matchup in Seattle.
