LeGarrette Blount seemed to take a backseat to Jay Ajayi in the Philadelphia Eagles’ backfield until last Sunday. Blount led the Eagles’ rush attack in Week 12 with 15 carries for 97 yards in the blowout win over the Chicago Bears. He lost a fumble in the contest as well. Blount has had more touches than any other Eagles RB in the last two games.
Fantasy football Week 13: Start or sit LeGarrette Blount?
Blount led the Eagles’ backfield in a blowout win over Chicago. We look a the fantasy implications for Week 13.

Sunday night, Blount will face a difficult Seattle Seahawks defense. Blount has a good history against the Seahawks, scoring three touchdowns vs. Seattle in their last meeting. The Seahawks have the ninth-ranked rushing defense in the league, but they have given up nine rushing touchdowns this season. That is a tie for fifth-most in the league, so they can be scored upon by opposition running backs.
Fantasy impact: Blount was about to be written off in fantasy as his production took a big dip when Ajayi joined the Eagles in Week 9. There is no need to count him out just yet, however. Blount continues to dominate the touches in the Eagles’ backfield. He is the only Eagles rusher to have double-digit carries in all but two games this season. The Eagles’ commitment to Blount is encouraging, but he will likely take a hit to his numbers this week in Seattle. He still has flex potential based on his volume.
