Detroit Lions running back Ameer Abdullah was a ghost in the Week 12 loss to the NFC North-leading Minnesota Vikings. Abdullah rushed a season-low six times for 14 yards in the outing. He was much more effective in the passing game, catching three passes for 29 yards. The third-year rusher ended his three-game scoring streak last Thursday, failing to find the end zone against Minnesota.
Fantasy football start/sit advice Week 13: What to do with Ameer Abdullah
Abdullah hit a season-low in rushing yards last Thursday. We look at the fantasy impact against the Ravens.

The Lions need Abdullah to bounce back against a tough Baltimore Ravens defense Sunday. The Ravens are vulnerable against the run, allowing the eighth-most yards to RBs so far this season. They have also given up seven touchdowns to opposing rushers. The Ravens have shut down pass-catching backs this season, however. They have not allowed a receiving touchdown to a running back.
Fantasy impact: The Lions running game is almost non-existent. Abdullah, the starting running back, only has two games with over 55 rushing yards. He has some fantasy appeal if he is scoring, but he only had one touchdown prior to his three-game scoring stretch Weeks 9 through 11. The best way to beat the Ravens is through the run. Unfortunately, Abdullah is not trustworthy enough to start even with such a favorable matchup.
