Marvin Jones went off for the Detroit Lions last Thursday against Minnesota Vikings shutdown cornerback Xavier Rhodes. The fifth-year deep threat faces another challenging defense in Week 13 against the Baltimore Ravens. Jones caught six passes for 109 yards and two touchdowns in the Lions’ Week 12 loss to Minnesota. It was his second 100 yard-plus receiving game in November and third of the season. Jones has scored in three of the last four games for Detroit. He has five touchdowns since Week 9.
Fantasy football Week 13: Start or sit Marvin Jones?
Jones carries momentum from a big game into a tough matchup with the Ravens. We break down the fantasy implications.

The Lions are hoping that Jones has another big game versus another strong defense Sunday. It will be a lot harder against the Ravens, who have the second-best passing defense in the league. The Ravens have allowed the fifth-fewest yards and second-fewest touchdowns to wideouts this season. Jones is very familiar with the Ravens from his days as a Cincinnati Bengal. In five career meetings with Baltimore, Jones has scored three times and has two games with 60 receiving yards or more.
Fantasy impact: This matchup did not look good for Jones two weeks ago, but now, he enters the game with upside after lighting up Rhodes. Jones has been hot since Week 6 with only one bad game against Cleveland in a six-week span. He may have a tough time with the Ravens shutout corners, but Jones should definitely be in your lineup this week.
