Golden Tate hit a season-low in the Detroit Lions’ loss to the Minnesota Vikings last Thursday. The eight-year veteran caught four passes on eight targets for just seven yards in Week 12. He also rushed two times for 13 yards in the contest. This is the second straight week Tate has failed to gain 40 yards or score after going off in Week 10 against the Cleveland Browns for 97 yards and a touchdown.
Fantasy football start/sit advice Week 13: What to do with Golden Tate
Tate tries to bounce back from his worst game of the season against the second-best defense in the league. We look at the fantasy implications.

Tate will have to work hard to rebound against the Baltimore Ravens defense Sunday. The Ravens own opposing wideouts, limiting them to just five scores so far this season, and they have allowed the fifth-fewest receiving yards to the position. The Ravens did give up 125 receiving yards to Houston Texans WR DeAndre Hopkins in Week 12.
Fantasy impact: Tate disappeared in the Lions offense the last two games. He still has seen a lot of targets, but he has not been able to break loose like he had most of the season. Tate is also taking a back seat to Marvin Jones in the Lions offense now. He has the potential for a big play every time he gets his hands on the ball. It will be harder to produce against the Ravens though. It’s ok to leave Tate on the bench this week.
