Star wideout Julio Jones was essentially shut out of the Atlanta Falcons’ offense in Week 13. Working one-on-one against cornerback Xavier Rhodes, Jones caught a season-low two passes for 24 yards in the loss to the Minnesota Vikings — just a week after catching a season-high 12 passes for 253 yards and two touchdowns against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Jones still led the Falcons in targets Sunday with six.
Fantasy football start/sit, Week 14: What to do with Julio Jones Thursday night
Joens looks to rebound from his worst game of the season against division-rival New Orleans. We look at the fantasy implications.

The deep threat hopes to bounce back against the division-rival New Orleans Saints Thursday night. The Saints’ secondary has been short-handed the last two games with rookie cornerback Marshon Lattimore sidelined with a sprained ankle. They are hoping he can return for the Week 14 to match up with Jones. Jones has owned the Saints the last few seasons with 93-plus yards receiving in five of the six meetings.
Fantasy impact: No one would have expected Rhodes to contain Jones as well as he did Sunday. That should not happen again Thursday night. The Saints are pretty friendly to wideouts. If they get Lattimore back for the contest, Jones will not have a cupcake game. However, he should be able to bounce back against this secondary either way.
