The fantasy football landscape changed dramatically this offseason when it comes to tight ends.
2017 fantasy football rankings, pre-draft: Tight ends
An early projection of the top fantasy tight ends heading into the 2017 NFL season.

The biggest change came when Martellus Bennett left the New England Patriots to sign with the Green Bay Packers. Bennett enjoyed a nice 2016 season, much of which while filling in for the injured Rob Gronkowski, who missed 11 games (including playoffs) due to injury.
Bennett’s departure led to New England signing Dwayne Allen, who began 2016 as the Indianapolis Colts’ starting tight end. However, they’ll now rely on Jack Doyle as their top tight end after he signed a nice extension this offseason.
As for Bennett, his fantasy value increases dramatically now that he’s the No. 1 tight end for a Packers team that badly needs one. That also led to former Packer Jared Cook leaving to sign with the Oakland Raiders and fight for their No. 1 tight end spot.
Now, here is a look at our early rankings of the top 25 tight ends in fantasy football for the 2017 season:
