2017 NFL draft results: Fantasy implications of Corey Davis to the Tennessee Titans
The Tennessee Titans drafted wide receiver Corey Davis in the 2017 NFL draft. We break down the fantasy implications.

Davis and Randy Moss are the only MAC wide receivers ever drafted in the first round. Davis made a name for himself the past four years and was the MAC offensive player of the year in 2016 with 97 catches for 1,500 yards and 19 touchdowns. He led Western Michigan in receiving in each of his four seasons, posting just under 5,300 yards for his career. He has the physical tools and techniques to be an impact receiver in the NFL.
Fantasy impact: If any rookie receiver is going to break out right away, it’s Davis. He gets a budding star in quarterback Marcus Mariota, and is immediately the most talented wide receiver on the roster. It might take some time to get used to the NFL game, but he has a good chance of being a fantasy starter right away. He is in position to be a strong WR2 in re-draft leagues, and is worthy of a first-round pick in dynasty leagues. On the other hand, Rishard Matthews loses some value after appearing to break out in 2016.
