2017 NFL draft results: Fantasy implications of John Ross to the Cincinnati Bengals
The Cincinnati Bengals have drafted wide receiver John Ross. We break down the fantasy implications.

Ross made headlines at the combine by setting the record in the 40-yard dash with a 4.22. He can also catch. Ross was a second-team All-American last year after hauling in 81 receptions for 1,150 yards and a Pac-12-leading 17 touchdowns.
Although he may be a bit undersized as a receiver in the NFL, he can be a two-way threat as a kick returner, à la Kansas City’s Tyreek Hill.
Fantasy impact: Andy Dalton and the Bengals have a whole lot of weapons, which is further removing excuses for offensive woes. That being said, it is too soon to tell how Ross will fit in on a consistent basis. I would bet good money you’ll see some huge weeks, but expect a lot of rookie inconsistency. He’ll be a favorite in daily fantasy. In re-draft leagues he’s a bench option flier. In keeper and dynasty leagues, he’ll be worth a high pick, but don’t expect a lot that first year.
