Even with veterans Jeremy Hill and Giovani Bernard in the fold, the Cincinnati Bengals looked to upgrade their backfield with the addition of Joe Mixon in the second round of this year’s NFL draft.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 1: Joe Mixon
Will Joe Mixon make an impact in his debut? We break down the fantasy implications.

Mixon is easily the most talented back on the roster. He could become a stud in standard and PPR leagues with his dual-threat capabilities. However, Hill has maintained his starting spot throughout the preseason.
That makes it hard to start any Bengals running back on your fantasy team in Week 1.
Fantasy Impact: It is hard to see Hill holding onto his job for all of 2017, but he is at least set to be the starter in the opener vs. the Baltimore Ravens. The Bengals also tend to bring their rookies along very slowly. Even if Mixon gets a lot of touches, he is facing a defense that allowed the seventh-fewest fantasy points to running backs in 2016.
