When he can stay in the lineup, there is perhaps no greater threat in fantasy football than Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell. That will be key in 2017. In four NFL seasons to this point, Bell has played all 16 games just once.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 1: Le’Veon Bell
The Steelers’ locomotive should be full speed ahead in Week 1. We break down the fantasy implications.

Nevertheless, Week 1 represents a tasty matchup against the Cleveland Browns. In his lone appearance against Cleveland last year, Bell finished with 201 total yards and a touchdown. In nearly any fantasy format, that kind of effort makes you a weekly MVP candidate.
Fantasy impact: As has been the case for years, the Browns are rebuilding. The Steelers will be one of the best offensive teams in the NFL in 2017. Combine those two factors together, and there’s no reason Bell won’t be a top five fantasy performer to start the season. Yes, he held out for contract reasons, but now he’s going to show why he gets paid the big bucks.
This one is a no-brainer.
Recommendation: Start
