The Los Angeles Rams want to see a lot more from their starting running back this season, and Todd Gurley should be able to produce big in the home opener. The Rams host the Indianapolis Colts in Week 1. Last season the Colts had one of the worst defenses in the league, and there is even more uncertainty with the unit this season. Gurley should be able to carve them up Sunday.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 1: Todd Gurley
Can Gurley rebound in Week 1? We break down the fantasy impact.

Gurley’s rookie season was magical, but his sophomore season fell very flat. He only had one game where he rushed for more than 100 yards. Time will tell if he can really turn things around this season, but Week 1 should get him off to a good start.
Fantasy impact:
A lot of owners are going to be leery of going with Gurley after he fizzled out last season. They are right to be cautious, but this week should be a layup. With quarterback Jared Goff still reluctant to open up in the passing game, the Rams are going to run the ball. They should also be able to easily run over the Colts defense that will tire quickly of being on the field most of the game.
