The Cardinals’ deep threat receiver is expected to play a big role on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Brown has all of the talent in the world and it has long been expected that he would eventually take over as the team’s top receiver. Unfortunately for his fantasy owners of the past, Larry Fitzgerald keeps racking up numbers from the slot position. Brown finished with just 517 receiving yards in 15 games last year. He will need to improve on those numbers this season. Week 1 is a great chance to do that.
Fantasy impact: Fitzgerald will likely end up with more targets on Sunday. Brown’s targets, however, will be further down the field. He is the big play receiver on the team these days. The Lions tend to get involved in shootouts often. With Matt Stafford and Carson Palmer going head-to-head, receivers on both teams including Brown should be in fantasy lineups.
