The Cincinnati Bengals brought back Brandon LaFell to be a complementary receiver after a decent 2016 season, where he had 64 catches for 862 yards and six touchdowns. LaFell played a much bigger role down the stretch when A.J. Green missed time with a torn hamstring.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Bengals vs. Texans TNF: Brandon LaFell
LaFell was quiet in Week 1 with A.J. Green back healthy. We break down the fantasy implications.

Now that Green and Tyler Eifert are back healthy, it seems like LaFell will be taking a backseat again, even with rookie John Ross struggling with a knee injury. LaFell caught just three passes for 24 yards in the Bengals’ Week 1 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
Fantasy impact: Andy Dalton was a horror show last week with four interceptions in the blowout loss. Even with the Bengals playing from behind all game, the offense never got on track, and LaFell’s numbers suffered as a result.
This week, the Bengals are taking on the Houston Texans on Thursday night. LaFell is a fine No. 2 receiver, but he’s mostly an afterthought as long as Green stays healthy. His fantasy ceiling is low at the moment, and he doesn’t need to be owned in 12-team leagues.
