Detroit Lions wide receiver Kenny Golladay caught four of seven targets for 69 yards and two touchdowns in the team’s Week 1 win over the Arizona Cardinals. He played 44 of 73 snaps in the game.
Fantasy football sit/start advice, Week 2: Kenny Golladay
Kenny Golladay delivered a breakout performance in Week 1. We break down the fantasy implications.

Golladay presented himself as a big target in the red zone on Sunday. That’s what allowed him to find two scores. It’s not realistic for him to do that every week. He has, however, put himself on the radar in deeper leagues.
Fantasy impact: Golden Tate and Marvin Jones will still be ahead of Golladay on the depth chart. The positive for Golladay is that he looks to be ahead of T.J. Jones on the totem pole. Jones saw just 18 snaps in Week 1. It’s for that reason fantasy owners in deep leagues may want to take a chance on Golladay against the New York Giants in Week 2.
He likely won’t get seven targets, but he should do better than being strictly used as a red-zone threat, which means there will be some yardage points to be had.
Recommendation: Start
