Charles Clay has the trust of his QB Tyrod Taylor. Clay is one of the few receiving options left in Buffalo from 2016 after Sammy Watkins was traded to the Los Angeles Rams. The seventh-year TE was targeted nine times in Week 1. He caught four balls for 53 yards and a touchdown in the win over the New York Jets.

The Bills head to Charlotte Sunday to face the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers allowed the second most fantasy points to tight ends last season
Fantasy impact: Clay’s fantasy value is on borrowed time. He is benefitting now while Taylor gets used to the new Bills receivers. That being said, Clay has a favorable matchup with the Panthers this week and he will be a hot target in the red zone. Also, Taylor will likely rely on his TE a lot again while he gets more comfortable with his wideouts.
