Veteran wideout Pierre Garcon is seeing a boatload of targets from QB Brian Hoyer this season. Through the first two weeks of the season, he was targeted a team-leading 15 times for 107 yards. He is tied with Carlos Hyde for receptions with nine.

The 49ers want to feed Garcon the ball, but his fantasy outlook still remains bleak.

Thursday night Garcon will see a lot of targets again. The Los Angeles Rams defense, however, is a bear. The Rams defense is ranked fourth against the pass and has kept all opposing receivers to under 60 yards so far through two games.
Fantasy impact: Despite the high volume of targets, it is hard to trust Garcon in fantasy, though it is not his fault. Hoyer just does not have the arm to get things done and that hurts all the 49ers receivers. Considering their matchup, it would not be wise to expect Garcon to do much this week.
