The Cincinnati Bengals have ruled out Tyler Eifert for their Week 3 matchup with the Green Bay Packers.
Tyler Eifert injury update: What to do with the Bengals TE vs. the Packers
The Bengals will be without their star tight end in Week 3. We break down the fantasy implications.

This helps explain why Eifert is off to such a slow start this year, though a lot of that has to do with the struggles of the offensive line, Andy Dalton and former offensive coordinator Ken Zampese, who has since been replaced with Bill Lazor.
Even so, it’s concerning to see Eifert has just four catches for 46 yards after two games, so perhaps these injuries are more serious than the Bengals are letting on. He was reportedly dealing with knee tendinitis in the preseason, which led to him being held out of the third and fourth preseason games.
Eifert continues to be one of the most injury-prone fantasy studs.
Fantasy Impact: When EIfert is out, the Bengals rely on Tyler Kroft as their top tight end, though he has just one catch for five yards this year and has never been fantasy relevant. Eifert is close to being someone you should drop, but let’s see how he progresses next week.
