Lamar Miller is the Houston Texans’ workhorse, but his production is still very low. Last Thursday, he carried the ball 18 times for 61 yards and caught three passes for 26 yards. He had a similar stat line in Week 1, posting 65 yards on 17 carries and 31 receiving yards on two catches. Miller has yet to score a touchdown this season.

The Texans head to New England to face the Patriots Sunday. New England’s defense is not that great this year. They are ranked No. 26 in rushing defense and No. 31 against the pass. However, the Patriots offense is so explosive that the Texans will have to resort to the pass to keep up.
Fantasy impact: The Texans offense is on the struggle bus. The inconsistent QB play has made the passing game obsolete. That puts more pressure on Miller as defenses can load the box and keep him in check. He has not cracked 100 total yards yet this season, and it is highly unlikely he will hit that mark against the Patriots Sunday.
