The first two games of the season have been lacking from Pro Bowl QB Kirk Cousins. Week 1, he threw for 240 yards and a touchdown, but he was sacked four times, intercepted once, and lost two fumbles. Cousins was a lot more careful with the ball in Week 2, but he only completed 18 passes for 179 yards and did not score until the final two minutes of the game.
Fantasy football Week 3: Kirk Cousins, start or sit?
Cousins’ fantasy value wavers as he looks to get back to his Pro Bowl form.

Washington hosts the Oakland Raiders Sunday night. The Raiders have been friendly to opposing QBs, allowing 421 yards and two touchdowns in the air through the first two weeks of the season. The Raiders do not have a pick yet this season, but they have notched five sacks.
Fantasy impact: Can this be Cousins’ week to have a breakout game? The signs point to yes. The Raiders secondary is pretty weak. They did give up 166 yards and two touchdowns to Josh McCown. Also, the Raiders offense is super explosive, and Cousins will likely have to pass the ball to keep up with Oakland’s fast pace. Washington’s lead rusher Robert Kelley is iffy coming into the game with a rib injury, so Washington is shorthanded in the running game. Washington may not win, but Cousins should finally get a big fantasy week.
