Kelley is dealing with a rib injury that had him limited in practice this week. He suffered the injury in the second quarter of last week’s 27-20 win over the Los Angeles Rams.
It looks like Kelley will play, but he’s still a very tricky fantasy. That’s because Chris Thompson and Samaje Perine have emerged as viable weapons who are earning touches, regardless of whether Kelley plays or not.
For this season, Kelley has 108 yards and no scores on 22 runs with no catches. He is a low end RB2 at best.
Fantasy Impact: If Kelley plays, he will face a Raiders defense allowing the fifth-fewest fantasy points to running backs this season. Between the injury and other backs vying for carries, keep Kelley on the bench this week, even if he is active.
