Tight end Zach Miller is second in targets and receptions on the Chicago Bears offense behind running back Tarik Cohen. The sixth-year TE has 11 catches on 18 targets for 98 yards so far this season. He has five fewer receiving yards than the top wideout, Kendall Wright. Miller had one catch for 17 yards in the Bears win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, however, it was the longest completion for Chicago of the day.
Fantasy football start/sit Week 4: What to do with Zach Miller on ‘Thursday Night Football’
Miller is seeing a high volume of targets, but his fantasy stock is still low.

Thursday night, Miller is walking into a bad matchup. Chicago’s division rival, the Green Bay Packers, have shut down opposing tight ends so far this season, allowing just 53 yards on nine receptions through three games. They have also kept opposing TEs out of the end zone.
Fantasy impact: Chicago’s offensive motto is run first, short pass second and long pass hardly ever. That is a good setup for Miller. His targets will stay high because Bears quarterback Mike Glennon cannot be trusted to throw a deep ball. Unfortunately, the Packers are just too good in the middle. Miller will try to make a comeback in this game, but he could be looking at another quiet night in Green Bay.
