Geronimo Allison is pretty low on the Green Bay Packers depth chart, being stuck behind Jordy Nelson, Davante Adams, and Randall Cobb when all three are healthy. He sat out Week 1 with a suspension and caught only three passes in Week 2. However, he’s had his moments to shine when injuries have struck the Packers’ wide receivers group, and that held true once again in Week 3.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Bears vs. Packers ‘TNF’: Geronimo Allison
Allison is a big-play machine, but his target opportunities are limited in the Packers’ offense. We break down the fantasy implications.

With Cobb sitting out against the Cincinnati Bengals with a chest injury, Allison had a fine performance, catching six passes for 122 yards. He showed off his big-play ability in overtime, burning the Bengals secondary on a 72-yard catch-and-run that set up the Packers for the game-winning field goal.
Fantasy impact: Allison has consistently stepped up when needed, but he’ll likely take a backseat when the Packers face the Chicago Bears Thursday night. With Nelson fully healed from a quad injury and Cobb expected to return, the targets might not be there for Allison this week. He’s a nifty lottery ticket in deeper fantasy leagues, but starting opportunities will be few and far between as long as Nelson, Adams, and Cobb are all on the field together.
Recommendation: Sit
