The surprising dismissal of Christian Horner as Team Principal at Red Bull prompted the Formula 1 world press to pause on what was the biggest story in the sport.

But only for a moment.

Now that Red Bull has turned the page, and handed the baton to incoming Team Principal Laurent Mekies, the focus turns back to the other major story: The future of Max Verstappen with the team. Rumors of a shocking move to Mercedes have only picked up steam in recent weeks, with both George Russell and Kimi Antonelli without contracts for next season and Toto Wolff outlining that “conversations behind closed doors” were taking place.

With the sport’s summer break right around the corner — only two races remain until F1 goes on hiatus in August — decision time seems to be looming for both Verstappen and Mercedes. So it is time for fans to weigh in. Where do you think Verstappen drives next season? Does he stay at Red Bull despite the change in leadership (or because of it as some have speculated)? Or does Verstappen make the shocking move to Mercedes?
