Franklin Templeton Shootout 2011: Keegan Bradley, Brendan Steele On Top Midway Through Second Round

The Franklin Templeton Shootout is through the first nine holes of its second round on Day 2 of the three-day affair on Saturday afternoon. The team of Keegan Bradley and Brendan Steele have taken the lead after being tied with Mark Calcavecchia and Nick Price through the first day of golf.

Bradley and Steele have shot a six-under through the first 10 holes of Saturday’s action which, at first glance, would probably lead many to wonder how they took sole possession of first place after finished Friday’s action at nine strokes under par. The reason is that Calcavecchia and Price are struggling on Saturday, however, as they’re at just three-under through the first 10 holes of the day.

Kenny Perry and Scott Stallings are in second place through 13 holes with a -13 mark, just two strokes away from Bradley and Steele. Following them is a bunch of six teams tied for third place in the three-day event. Stewart Cink and Bo Van Pelt currently bring up the rear with nine-under through 15 holes on Saturday.
