Northern Trust Open, Round 3 Leaderboard Results: Aaron Baddeley On Top, Fred Couples A Stroke Behind

At the Riviera Country Club, Round 3 of the Northern Trust Open is in the books, and Australia’s own Aaron Baddeley heads into the final round with a one-stroke lead. And while Fred Couples has lost the lead, his chances of winning his first PGA Tour event in nearly eight years are alive and well.

Baddeley began to pick up his pace midway through the day, shooting for birdie on four of five holes. His 4-under day puts him at 10-under for the tournament.

One stroke behind him is Fred Couples, who has 15 PGA Tour wins to his name, but none since 2003. Couples shot a relatively modest 1-under, and now shares second place with Kevin Na. Na, who shot 4-under on Saturday, is looking for the first PGA Tour win of his career.

Here’s how the leaderboard looks entering Round 4:

1. Aaron Baddeley (-10)
T2. Kevin Na (-9)
T2. Fred Couples (-9)
4. Vijay Singh (-8)
T5. Ryan Moore (-6)
T5. John Senden (-6)
7. Seven tied (-5)
