Honda Classic 2011, Round 2 Leaderboard Results: Kyle Stanley Leads Pack

In Palm Beach Gardens on Friday, Kyle Stanley pieced together a 4-under Round 2 to take the lead at the Honda Classic. Thanks to a terrific 6-under round, though, Rory Sabbatini is right behind him on the leaderboard.

Stanley, who started the day on the back nine, now sits at 6-under for the tournament. The 23-year-old has yet to win a PGA Tour event in his young career, and has finished in the top ten six times.

Sabbatini, who hails from South Africa, had the best round of the day. His 6-under puts him at 5-under for the tournament, a stroke behind Stanley. He’s on the hunt for his sixth career PGA Tour win, and his first since May of 2009.

Here is how the top of the leaderboard looks entering Saturday’s action:

1. Kyle Stanley (-6)
2. Rory Sabbatini (-5)
3. Charl Schwartzel (-3)
4. Four tied (-2)
8. Five tied (-1)
