At the Honda Classic, Rory Sabbatini is dominating the leaderboard. At the conclusion of Round 3 on Saturday, the South African held an enormous five-stroke lead over the rest of the field, and barring a collapse, he figures to win the event at Palm Beach Gardens.
2011 Honda Classic, Leaderboard Update: Rory Sabbatini Dominating At End Of Round 3
Sabbatini erased a bogey with five birdies to shoot 4-under in Round 3. He’s been on fire for the last 48 hours, as he shot 6-under on Saturday. Sabbatini, who is now 9-under for the tournament, is seeking his sixth career PGA Tour win, and his first since May of 2009.
The leader entering Round 3, Kyle Stanley, has slipped to fifth place after a rough day. A double-bogey on the 11th hole contributed to his 4-over score. Meanwhile, Y.E. Yang has ascended the leaderboard; the South Korean shot 3-under to move into a tie for second.
